Frequently Asked Questions

What is EvidX?

EvidX is a knowledge acceleration tool that turns published scientific articles (PDFs) into structured summaries and triage reports using artificial intelligence. It helps you decide which papers merit your full reading time. It is a study and continuing-education tool — not a medical device or a clinical-decision tool.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from. See our Refund Policy for step-by-step instructions for the App Store and Google Play.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open the app → Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and analysis history. You can also email us at [email protected] to request deletion or to exercise your privacy (ARCO) rights.

Why does a long document consume 3 analyses?

Clinical guidelines and consensus statements —usually over 100 pages— are 5 to 10 times longer than a typical article. Processing them in full, without cutting sections, costs considerably more, which is why 3 analyses are deducted from your quota instead of 1.

Nothing is ever deducted without your permission. Before starting, the app tells you the page count, that it will cost 3 analyses, and how many you have left. If you cancel, nothing is deducted. And the deduction applies only if the analysis finishes: if it fails, you lose nothing.

I uploaded a guideline and the app asked me to confirm, or sent me to the plans. Why?

That is the long-document flow:

How long does a long document take?

Between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on size. You can close the app — we send you a notification when it is ready, and the analysis stays in your history.

The analysis looks wrong or incomplete. What should I do?

AI-generated summaries can contain errors — always verify key data against the original article before relying on it. If you spot a recurring problem, email us with the article and a description so we can improve the service.
